We’re a world-class, fast-moving team shaping the future of decentralized infrastructure. We’re looking for a Protocol Architect to lead the design of our on-chain coordination layer and define how privacy-first systems interact with modern blockchain networks.

You’ll own protocol architecture at TACEO, working at the intersection of zero knowledge, smart contracts, and distributed systems. If you thrive in low-level design, think from first principles, and want to build new primitives for the decentralized web, we’d love to talk.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Protocol architecture - Lead the design of TACEO’s coordination layer and on-chain components
• Blockchain integration - Figure out how TACEO plugs into existing ecosystems like Ethereum, L2s, and beyond
• Smart contract engineering - Extend EVM capabilities and define how coSNARKs-powered smart contracts are written and deployed
• Cross-domain coordination - Work closely with researchers, backend engineers, and product leads to align on-chain and off-chain development
• Team growth - Be our first dedicated on-chain engineer, with the opportunity to hire and lead your own team over time
